This operation allows you to remove package categories. At least one or more category ids must be included in the request. An empty array will result in an error. The delete includes the removal of both the category itself and any package assignments it had.

If a parent category is deleted, ALL categories assigned to it as a child category will also be deleted with their package assignments.
